Today we are highlighting graduating 5th year senior Alex LaPorta. Alex has put her mark on our program with her relentless work ethic & determination. Alex graduated with a master’s of Business Administration w/ an emphasis in Marketing.

Alex earned a bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, while finishing w/ a 3.84 GPA.  Alex is an Honor’s College member, First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District & Academic All-GLVC for 4 years.

Alex finished her career breaking UMSL’s All-Time rebounding record with 1,139 rebounds & 1,583 career points. In 5 seasons Alex started 104/130 games (only missing 1 game), averaged 32.1 minutes, 12.1 pts, 8.7 reb. & 3.3 asst.  Alex recorded 28 career double-double performances.

Alex earned 2017-18 All-GLVC Freshman Team, 2018-19 All-GLVC Second Team, 2019-20 All-GLVC Second Team, 2020-21 All-GLVC First Team, 2020-21 WBCA Honorable Mention All-America & 2021-22 ALL-GLVC First Team.

Alex has currently signed with a basketball agent & plans on playing professionally overseas in the fall. Thank you Alex for all of your commitment to our program, we will miss you!🎓🎈🔱👏 @alexlaporta

Today we highlight graduating senior Danielle Berry from Francis Howell HS. Dani played 3 total seasons for the Triton’s after transferring from Eastern Illinois University. Dani is the epitome of GRIT & RESILLENSE. Dani was a fighter on the floor and never gave up on possession.

Dani graduated w/ a bachelors of Science in Nursing w/ a minor in Psychology. Dani balanced the hectic schedule of a nursing student & still finished with an overall 3.5 GPA. By no surprise, Dani already has a position at Mercy Hospital of St. Louis as an operating room nurse.

Dani finished her career by starting 77-77 total games, not missing 1 single game. In her 3 years as a Triton she avg. 7.6 pts, 2.9 asst., 5.2 reb., & shot 80% from the FT line.  Dani WE will miss your tenacious efforts on the floor & everything you have given our program🥳🎓🩺👏

Today we celebrate graduating senior guard Adriana Plavsic from Brookfield East high school (WI). Adi dedicated herself to our Triton program for 4 years. Adi was a consistent voice of enthusiasm in everything she did for our team…Practices, Games, Life.

Adi’s spirit and hard work made every team better. Adi always put her teammates first in all that she did on and off the court. She was the mother hen to many players.

Adi graduated with a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in management and a minor in Digital Marketing Communications. Adi graduated with a 3.8 overall GPA. She was Academic All-GLVC for 4 years.

Adi has a job lined up as a Recruiter for Insight Global Company located in Milwaukee, WI. Thank you Adi for all that you have given our program! We will miss your zest for life, which you brought to our program daily 🎈👏🔱🎓🥳 adriana plavsic

2nd Olympic Triathlon in the books! I will never win any awards, as I am an awful swimmer!! I absolutely love the mental challenge & was happy to break my 1st time by 20 minutes🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

Today we celebrate the graduation of Kiara Stewart– DON’T WORRY FANS, Ki will be back for her 5th year at UMSL! Ki graduated w/ a degree in Business Administration w/ an emphasis in Marketing. Ki earned a minor in Communication, earning a 3.4 GPA. Ki is a 1st generation grad!

Kiara is a resilient & tireless player for our program. Ki gives it her all in everything she does on the court. Ki has brought a winning attitude & a tremendous work ethic daily to our program. In her 4 seasons she has started 95/102 games, while not missing a single game.

Ki has averaged in 4 years 23.8 min, 7.9 reb, 9.5 pts & shot 54.1 FG%. She has also recorded 19 total double-double games. Ki earned 1st Team All-GLVC (2022), GLVC Player of the Week honors (2022), 2nd Team All-GLVC (2021) & Academic All-GLVC for 3 years.

Kiara will continue her academics in the fall at UMSL pursuing her MBA. Her future goal is to play professionally overseas. AMAZING WORK Ki! We are so proud of you & cannot wait to have you back on the court in the fall👏🎈🎓🔱✨💫🥳
