Birthday emails are weird. The sentiment is kind of lost when the obvious message of the email is less "Happy Birthday" and more "Come on down to your local Chevy dealer to buy a new car."

Are we (designers) misrepresenting the job by mostly showcasing logo design work on socials? Logo design makes up less than 10% of my typical day-to-day workload but 15 of my last 20 IG posts were logos (or logo mockups).

I forgot what a terrible company Envato is until I went & tried to buy something. Reminded me why i stopped selling there years ago when they made contributors treat each transaction as an individual sale direct w/ the customer so Envato could pass more of the tax burden to us.
