The Republic of Cyprus doesn’t represent all Cypriots. Since 1963, Turkish Cypriots have been excluded from government, making the Republic of Cyprus a Greek Cypriot entity.

TRNC President Tufan Erhurman: The Turkish Cypriot people are one of the two equal founding partners of Cyprus, and this status is not open to discussion or negotiation. As such, the Turkish Cypriot people hold sovereign rights over the entire island.

Today marks the 42nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus - which came into being as a direct result of the lack of sincerity by Greek Cypriots toward a federal solution. TRNC remains open to federation. Do GCs? If not, the isolation must end

🚨🇬🇧Positive to see the UK Government recognise the continued effectiveness of the Immovable Property Commission. Just as the ECHR has repeatedly ruled, the IPC remains the lawful and valid remedy for property disputes in Cyprus - despite claims to the contrary.

In 2004, 76% of Greek Cypriots voted against reunification whilst 65% of Turkish Cypriots voted for it. Yet the Turkish Cypriots are still punished today with their isolation. Meanwhile Greek Cypriots enjoy EU membership. Jeffrey Sachs covers these points in his interview with

Judy Murray, Andy Murray’s mother, visited North Cyprus for the first time! 🙌 She raised one of the greatest tennis players of all time and worked closely with Turkish Cypriot players, coaches and families at the North Cyprus Tennis Federation. 👏 Well done to everyone

Meanwhile, Turkish Cypriot football teams, like all Turkish Cypriots sportsmen and women, cannot compete in any sporting competition, including friendly matches This is due to a Greek Cypriot led embargoes, which are supported by the UN Stop the lies. Stop the embargoes

…and apparently one which see no shame in blackmailing a section of its state with all encompassing embargoes in the hope that it will force them to accept the theft of their sovereignty by one half of a partnership ie Greek Cypriots claiming sole rule of Greek/Turkish Cyprus.

Living with a disability as a Turkish Cypriot is even more difficult. As well as the disability itself, you are forced to live under embargoes, created by Greek Cypriots and fully backed by the UN. The difference is, embargoes are a choice which can easily be reversed.

Crumbs from the UN table. When the festival ended, Turkish Cypriots returned home, still barred from participating in any similar events outside of the island, because the UN chooses to enforce embargoes against them - despite TCs having agreed to the UN settlement in 04.

How wonderful it would be if Turkish Cypriots, young and old, could participate in other events. Like sport or cultural activities and exchanges across the world. Unfortunately, the Greek Cypriot-led embargoes - which the UN support - prevents this. END THE EMBARGOES!!!

Very apt, because the roots of the Cyprus problem are directly in the UN. Resolution 186 (March 64), which referred to the Greek Cypriot administration as the Government of Cyprus. That paved the way for the subjugation and isolation of Turkish Cypriots, which continues today
