So I'm hearing that Burnaby planners are suggesting $100k in development fees for EACH additional unit in a multiplex. So, a 4plex would be 300k in fees PLUS building permit fees (60k?) for $360k in fees? Completely insane. And Burnaby is not alone.

A few ABC Vancouver city councillors were using taxpayer money to expense their blue checkmarks on X. Anyway, here’s the Mayor of Vancouver’s Chief of Staff taking out an ad on X to amplify one of their own tweets slamming a city council candidate in the upcoming by-election.

Meet ABC candidate Ralph Kaisers. In 2023, a police officer hit and injured a pedestrian with his car. Based on the evidence, an independent investigation recommended charges for dangerous driving. Kaiser's response? "The only charge should have been for the pedestrian." (1/2)

I worked CBC Radio for 6yrs…CBC Producers are experts at both siding issues in ways that legitimize wrong because it’s the opposite of good. It’s lazy framing passed off as edgy. The debate is what’s the best way of challenging Trump’s threat…annexation is not an option.

Full statement. Rustad indicates Brodie's recent video interview this week, in which she attacked fellow colleagues and mocked "the truth" leading to a huge caucus blowup on the issue, was the tipping point.
