The Face Lab LJMU is part of the team which has recreated the living voice of King Richard III. Caroline Wilkinson was joined by linguists and historians to recreate the monarch’s speech from the shape of his skull and knowledge of his environment. ➡️bit.ly/3ZFO4sO

A special moment for Face Lab LJMU last night. Unveiling the historic human reconstruction of #KingRichardIII at York Theatre Royal. The amazing hard work of historians, linguists, Yvonne Morley and many other experts created the King’s address in his contemporary original pronunciation!



Face Lab LJMU Lab have produced a facial depiction of a medieval King from Portugal, and he was revealed on January 07, 2025 in the Monastery of Saint Dinis and Saint Bernard in Odivelas, Portugal, to commemorate the 700th anniversary of his death. linkedin.com/posts/justicap…
