#OHPAcis is so much fun 😆 I was especially impressed with the wildfowl of Holland Park for joining in so lustily with the birdsong in Galatea’s first aria, though they could at least have had the decency to stay for the da capo 😂

Congratulations Opera Holland Park on your first Handel opera -hopefully more will follow in the years to come. A fun production with some excellent singing! One can almost imagine the venerable Handel traipsing across from his Mayfair residence ensconced in his front row armchair

Another superb evening Opera Holland Park - this time a delightfully clever, very funny & beautifully sung and played Acis & Galatea. The ability of this company to switch from full blown melodrama to gentle baroque speaks volumes for their versatility & sheer class! #OPH
