If you believe when Telegraph says that "Ukraine crisis has humiliated EU" but "Brexit Britain stands up to Russia". Then you really shouldn't be surprised that many Russians believe news bulletin in Moscow and Russian TV about how great the war is going for Russia.

It's not that Brexit directly caused the P&O scandal, it's that Boris Johnson and other Leave campaigners promised that leaving the EU would mean improved workers' rights and higher wages, only for them to then preside over the complete opposite.
