Whenever I meet a little girl, I say: “I’m running for president, because that’s what girls do,” and we pinky promise so they’ll remember.

It is so refreshing to be in a space that doesn't avoid politics, asks big questions, and celebrates "I don't know," "I'm pissed off," "I'm hurt," and "this is hard." #EvolvingFaith19

I still have all my Jennifer Knapp CDs- in the late ‘90s and early 2000s her music was basically the soundtrack to my life. This weekend at the Evolving Faith conference, she sang and spoke about her experience of… instagram.com/p/B3VXnJRH_vR/…

When Rachel died, she left some unfinished work on her computer. One piece was on LGBTQ matters. With the SCOTUS case and all that's still happening in our churches and the world, Dan decided to post it today "even though it’s imperfect and incomplete." rachelheldevans.com/blog/lgbtq

Even though Beth didn’t want to talk about it, I appreciated the discussion of Ellen and GWB and its complexity- how wealth, power and privilege make this more than “just be kind to everyone.”

My hot take on health care reform. Medicine is designed for an acute care model. This model doesn’t work for people with chronic conditions (which is most of medicine). The way we approach chronic issues needs to change from the ground up. Time, fees, access, etc. Everything.

Such a great discussion at the end of PantsuitPolitics episode today. “I do not want my daughter to not do something with friends that has the possibility of being fun because she doesn’t think her body’s good enough to show up in that room.”-Beth YES. SO GOOD.

Today is the perfect day to know it's all fine. You're still doing the 30 day challenge even if you missed a day. The work that isn't finished will be there Monday. If you swore off sugar and just had a milkshake, you haven't lost anything. Batting .500 is amazing.

What kind of society do I want? one where the lives of the elderly, the immunocompromised and the vulnerable are prioritized over the dollar. I trust we can figure out what to do abt the economy. We cannot replace people and relationships.

I’ve listened to PantsuitPolitics since early 2016. Beth and Sarah have made me a better citizen, a better person. Then I met them in person in 2019 (twice!) and they are just as kind, funny & smart as in my earbuds. So proud to be a part of their movement. #pantsuitpolitics500

If Biden is elected, the Christian leaders who threw themselves at Trump & defended his indefensible words & deeds will now be left empty handed. You got your 30 pieces of silver, but you lost your witness, your integrity, & the next generation of the church.

One little girl wants to make sure the crews that cleaned up after rioters attacked the U.S. Capitol are not forgotten. Charlotte Baker sent them homemade thank-you notes. "I'm sorry you had to clean when you did not make the mess," she wrote.

PSA: body shaming ANY athlete, but specifically female athletes is never ok. Seeing comments on here is very disheartening. I don’t care if she plays for your most hated rival. Big, small, tall, short, female athletes come in all shapes and sizes, and every single one is
