Just calculated last years lamb crop. Scanned 167%, tailed 145%, weaned 144%, sold/retained 142%. Looking forward to this years results 🤞

Finished tailing yesterday. Cold weather at lambing must have had a worse effect that I thought. Tailed 142% to ewes tupped. Following a scan of 177% (19.4% losses). Good conditions last year had us tail 145% to a lower scan at 167% (15.3% losses).

Dogs absolutely arrad after failed attempt at penning big drove of ewes and lambs. Back home for food, water and rest before second attempt 😅 Didn't think it was that hot 😂

Big relief to get finished shearing the ewes yesterday. Theres been alot of soul searching this year but managed to get a 300 and big Will got a PB! There's no success without suffering 😅
