Eithnewalsh was delighted to be invited by Ann Marie Farrell & Siobhán Weekes to speak to students in the Professional Masters in Ed Program. I spoke about my experiences of collaborating with teachers & to ensure my children could access education and reach their potential.

After parents/guardians, teachers are often the next biggest influence on children under 12. That was certainly my experience. Congratulations to DCU Institute of Education for incorporating the lived experiences of parents into their teaching program. Together we can accomplish so much.

Delighted to see 2 young people we know are new delegates on the Comhairle na nÓg National Youth Assembly. Laoise & Evelina have lots to say to help shape the governments policies. Laoise was nominated by @Féach & Evelina was nominated by Vision Ireland.

Exciting news! Training for educational professionals supporting students who are blind/VI coming soon. Expression of Interest registration will open March 10th Angel Eyes NI & Feach will again run a 1 day workshop for teachers and SNAs working with children with vision loss
