It's time the regulator started blocking Thames Water's planned dividend payouts and eye-watering bill hikes. Years of inaction from Conservative Ministers has lead to this. It is clear the public want action on this rogue firm. The government should listen.

Water company bosses shouldn't be bringing in huge bonuses, while hiking bills for customers and filling our rivers and lakes with sewage. It's time to clean up this Wild West water industry.

Having stood as Liberal Democrats PCC candidate in Hampshire & IOW, I’m shocked to read the statement issued by the Hants & IOW PCC. Even more shocked that she hasn’t resigned immediately. These extreme views have no place in our society, let alone from our PCC. Position untenable.
