Water is one of Michigan’s most valuable resources, and under Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s leadership, the state has invested +$5B since 2019 to improve water infrastructure. These investments help ensure clean, safe drinking water while supporting thousands of jobs across Michigan.

This project marks another step forward in improving environmental safety and protecting public health across Michigan. We’re proud to work with the State Land Bank, local government, and partners to clean up contamination and restore this space for future jobs and community use.
