Coming up this autumn: THE LIMIT in the Linbury at The Royal Ballet. Sam Steiner’s text, choreography from incredible Kristen McNally, and a new score by Isobel Waller-Bridge. A surprise and thrill every step of the way.
My next thing: Marek Horn’s brilliant new play OCTOPOLIS at Hampstead Theatre. It’s so good (faith, love, sentience, jokes - you name it, it’s got it!) and I can’t wait to start.
🐙EXCITING CAST ANNOUNCEMENT 🐙 Jemma Redgrave (Grantchester, Holby City, Silent Witness) & Ewan Miller (Much Ado About Nothing, National Theatre) will be joining us for Marek Horn's #Octopolis, directed by Ed Madden, opening Downstairs 15 Sep! Book now: hampsteadtheatre.com/whats-on/2023/…
This is so richly deserved. SOME DEMON is a superb play by any measure, but for a debut it’s astonishing. Go Laura Jayne Waldren!
Joining us in the world premiere of @SophiaLeuner's This Might Not Be It - Denzel Baidoo (Dear England), @debrabaker33 (Orlando) & dolly. Directed by Ed Madden, produced by Broccoli Arts & Jessie Anand Productions, it lands in our studio 30 Jan. 🎟️ bit.ly/ThisMightNotBe…
1536 is an extraordinary play - electric line by line, its plot tightening like a steel trap - and AvaPickett (she/her) is a massive talent. This is just such brilliant news.
Very touched by this surprise mention in New York Times Arts, today. Never not proud to work with Marek Horn, and loved bringing Octopolis to life with the superb team at Hampstead Theatre last autumn.
Next year: so chuffed to be heading back to Hampstead Theatre to do this, @BradJackfield’s bright and brilliant debut about the power of play. I can’t wait to get stuck in.
