This is Ruth Karp's first yahrzeit or anniversary of her passing. When someone passes away that person is no longer physically with us, but the memory of that individual remains alive. I'm pleased that ruthkarp.com goes live today. More to come!

Inventor and entrepreneur Ivan Yaeger visited my classroom at Yeshiva Elementary School on opening week. Students were enthralled by his presentation which included opportunities to operate the robotic arm he invented. If you'd like to come visit, please contact me.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for 15 of 16 years I was a member of the Miami-Dade School Board, I attended the 5000 Role Models MLK Scholarship Breakfast with my sons. Kudos to the Wilson scholars! This picture brings back nice memories and hoping we can all be there next year.
