I keep getting offers of deals in my email from WestJet. Given the horror stories coming out about WJ, how they overbook, people aren’t able to get to their destination, then get treated like shit when they try to resolve the issues. You couldn’t pay me enough to fly with WJ.

Today is World Cancer Day, with a theme to close the care gap. Throughout my journey with cancer for the past 18 months, I have received amazing care, in a timely fashion from Horizon Health Network . My oncologist is very invested in my situation and very attentive to me. 1/3

2/3 the nurses at the Sheldon Rubin Oncology Clinic are so kind and compassionate and provide me with the best care imaginable. The pharmacist at the clinic is equally attentive and compassionate, going above and beyond his duties to provide me with a hood and personal service.

3/3. I have heard many stories where people are faced with delays and poor care. I empathize with those people. My experience has been the total opposite. I couldn’t ask for better care. I’m eternally grateful in such a difficult situation. #WorldCancerDay Thanks Cancer!

2/2 good most days with the tiredness - still ever present - but not as bad as it was early on after my diagnosis. It’s been my experience that it takes a few attempts to get a treatment that is more agreeable with you. They all have some form of side effects tho. 🥲

2/2… given my situation, I retired from a full time position and returned part time - where I can dictate the days I work. That fulfills my desire to still work but gives me control over when I work. This arrangement works very well for me. Flex arrangements an option for you?

In Montreal with a lifelong friend. Both lifelong x - Canadiens Montréal fans so we watched our beloved #Habs play the Colorado Avalanche . It’s amazing to be in the Bell Centre - no place like it to watch a hockey game. The atmosphere is the best. Electric, even when losing 8-4.
