Thank you to all of the Edison Middle School students and their families who generously donated to Project Happy! Students were able to wrap nearly 200 gifts for those in need this holiday season.

Congratulations to the EMS Robotics team for a great performance at the Elyria Pioneer Classic last weekend. Special congratulations to the team of Gabe Matter, Sam Ruggles, Hiram Schoenherr, and Augie Stipp for their fourth place finish at the meet.

The Edison Local School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.  All practices and afterschool activities are cancelled. We will continue to monitor the forecast for Wednesday. Stay safe and warm!

Congratulations to Kasen Proctor who placed 1st in Middle School Interpretation and Natalie Mees who placed 5th in Interpretation. Edison Middle School has now qualified seven students who will compete at the State Middle School Speech and Debate Championships later this month.

Middle School State Speech and Debate qualifiers include Madison Moon, Austin Warren and Avery Thurston in Congressional Debate and Kasen Proctor, Harper Salmons, Natalie Mees and Natalie Salmons who have qualified in Speech Interpretation. Congratulations team!

Congratulations to Ava Slie and and Ava Pennell for participating in the Middle School Honors Band Festival at Tiffin Middle School on January 18th. This is the first time Edison has participated in this event and they represented our school well!

The Norwalk Elks has announced the winners of their Americanism Essay contest. These students' essays will advance to the District competition. Congratulations! 6th Grade - Lillian Schueler-Nickles and Elsy Traut 8th Grade - Alexandra Bragg, Isabella Maynard, and Cadence Sharp

Saturday morning the 7th grade Lady Chargers basketball team beat Huron 35-31 in overtime to win the SBC Bay Division Championship. Liv Meagrow scored 14pts, Kira Quillen 9pts, Paisley Keefer 6pts, Delaney Marshall 4pts and Megan Thompson 2pts. Congratulations on a great season!

E.M.S. Power of the Pen competed at Districts in Tiffin on Saturday. The 7th-grade team placed 2nd, with Josie Rockwell finishing in 8th place, Maddie Moon 6th, and Kase Proctor 4th. For the 8th-grade team, Clara Ward placed 10th, and Ava Pennell 4th place. Congratulations!
