Congratulations to the EMS Robotics team for a great performance at the Elyria Pioneer Classic last weekend. Special congratulations to the team of Gabe Matter, Sam Ruggles, Hiram Schoenherr, and Augie Stipp for their fourth place finish at the meet.

Congratulations to Kasen Proctor who placed 1st in Middle School Interpretation and Natalie Mees who placed 5th in Interpretation. Edison Middle School has now qualified seven students who will compete at the State Middle School Speech and Debate Championships later this month.

Congratulations to Ava Slie and and Ava Pennell for participating in the Middle School Honors Band Festival at Tiffin Middle School on January 18th. This is the first time Edison has participated in this event and they represented our school well!

Saturday morning the 7th grade Lady Chargers basketball team beat Huron 35-31 in overtime to win the SBC Bay Division Championship. Liv Meagrow scored 14pts, Kira Quillen 9pts, Paisley Keefer 6pts, Delaney Marshall 4pts and Megan Thompson 2pts. Congratulations on a great season!

E.M.S. Power of the Pen competed at Districts in Tiffin on Saturday. The 7th-grade team placed 2nd, with Josie Rockwell finishing in 8th place, Maddie Moon 6th, and Kase Proctor 4th. For the 8th-grade team, Clara Ward placed 10th, and Ava Pennell 4th place. Congratulations!
