Kyiv has captured a part of my heart. I knew I would be back.

Putin thought Ukraine was weak and the West was divided. He thought he could outlast us. He was just plain wrong. One year later, here we stand together – united with the people of Ukraine.

I support D.C. Statehood and home-rule – but I don’t support some of the changes D.C. Council put forward over the Mayor’s objections – such as lowering penalties for carjackings. If the Senate votes to overturn what D.C. Council did – I’ll sign it.

I work every day to bring down health care costs, and I've called on leaders to do the same. This is what I'm talking about: This bipartisan deal would expand Medicaid to hundreds of thousands of people. That'll be 40 states who've expanded. 10 more to go.

Welcome back to the Oval Office, Taoiseach Varadkar. Like my Grandfather Finnegan used to say, "May the hinge of our friendship never go rusty." And I don't believe the United States and Ireland will ever let it.
