Congratulations to the Edge Grove Preparatory School pupils who qualified for the national finals. Daniel (3rd fastest), Kene, Olly, Niccolo and U12 boys relay teams. It is disappointing that you will not be able to compete for these medals in the olympic pool but well done on your achievement.

After 36 years of service, today we say goodbye and happy retirement to Phil Smith. Edge Grove won't be the same without his powerful singing voice, spectacular fireworks displays and tireless commitment to the school. You will be missed. #EGLegend #EndOfAnEra

We also say goodbye to Ben Evans & family & we reflect upon the huge impact Ben & Alex have had on the school. Their achievements are too vast to note here but their commitment to #EdgeGrove is inspirational. We wish them lots of luck in their next adventure #EndOfAnEra

Boys have arrived safely in Barcelona and have checked in to their lovely hotel in Salou. We are now enjoying a swim in the sea at 6:00pm. Bliss!!!

What a great day in Spain. Coaching masterclass at Football Salou, afternoon on the beach and then our first fixture. We were 1 - 0 down within the first minute then turned things around to equalise in the second half and then scored a last minute winner. What a great result.

A great day at Football Salou which started with a masterclass coaching session and then 2 matches against the other UK touring school. It was a tough day in the sunshine but we still managed a 3-0 win and a 2-1 win which means we are undefeated on tour.

A busy day in Spain at the Bosc Aventura high ropes and celebratory McD’s for being undefeated on tour. Also our last visit to the beach before we depart tomorrow.

Another full day in Barcelona visiting the Nou Camp and then a quick tour of the city. We are checked in at the airport and hoping our flight won’t be delayed after a brilliant trip.

We have landed after an hour delay. ETA at school is 2:30am.
