It is with great sadness that we share the sad passing of former teacher Mr Cowley. He taught Geography alongside being Head of House and Head of Year 11. He worked his whole career from 1975-2010. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time #weareEDA

Tomorrow, we sadly say goodbye to Mrs Barton and Mr Carter Shipman from the Senior Leadership Team. We have been committed and dedicated leaders and we have strived to do what is right for our staff, students and families. What a journey is has been #weareEDA

Our whole school assembly was simply amazing. Student behaviour was impeccable. We celebrated our year, said goodbye and good luck to some colleagues, listened to music and poetry and gave some key messages #weareEDA

Ross and Joe performed tracks selected by Mrs Barton and Mr Shipman. We were also treated to Mr Williams on acoustic guitar 🎸 who demonstrated what it is like to take yourself out of your comfort zone. A magical performance #weareEDA

It was a privilege to deliver today's assembly. We launched our new Academy strapline with the students today. In September, we return with our new strapline of Hard Work. High Aspirations. Limitless Opportunities. Looking forward to the next phase of our journey #weareEDA

Hannah Hampton is a former EDA superstar who has shown what you can achieve if you dream big and work hard. However, a huge shout out to her mum and dad, Chris and Laura who are former EDA teachers. They, alongside Ben, should be incredibly proud of tonight's performance 👏
