It was a hot, but fun day catching at the University of Illinois Elite Day Softball Camp. Thanks to all of the coaches, staff, and players for making it a positive day! Illinois Softball

The Lady Eagles opened their season with a  9-7 victory over Riverdale. The ladies were strong at the bat, driving 10 hits in 5 innings.  Cunningham (2025), Justice Krus (2024) and Brooklyn Millhollin (2024) led the way with 2 hits each.

Hindenburg (2025), Justice Krus (2024), Drake (2026), Powers (2024), and Ramos (2024) delivered two hits a piece. Cunningham (2025) and Ella Calhoun (2024) followed with one hit each.

The Lady Eagles won their home opener tonight against the Princeville Princes! kennedy cleeton (2024) and Brooklyn Millhollin (2024) combined on the mound for a 10-0 shutout victory, delivering a combined total of 10 strikeouts across 5 innings.

Gabby Drake (2026) led the team with two hits. Cunningham (2025), Brooklyn Millhollin (2024), Covey (2024), Powers (2024), Sam Matheny (2026), and Ella Calhoun (2024) each added another hit. Covey delivered 4 RBIs with a Grand Slam in the fourth inning! 🚀

The Lady Eagles took home a big win tonight against the Pekin Dragons. Ella Calhoun (2024) sealed the win with a beautiful walk-off single, scoring Brooklyn Millhollin (2024). The final score was 7-6.

Justice Krus (2024) led the way in hits with 3, followed closely by Ella Calhoun and Hindenburg (2025) with 2 hits each. Ella Cunningham (2025), Covey (2024), Drake (2026), Brooklyn Millhollin , Sam Matheny (2026), Atkinson (2025), and Powers (2024) each added one hit a piece.

It was a beautiful day for a round robin. In game 1 the Eagles took home a 24-1 victory over El Paso Gridley. Ella Cunningham, Mara Hindenburg , Covey, Drake, Brooklyn Millhollin and Powers all secured multiple hits. Justice Krus, Sletten, Hopwood, Ramos and Calhoun each added a run

In game 2 the Varsity Eagles defeated Midwest Central with a 15-0 shutout with Centoni on the mound. Centoni struck out four with zero walks! Ella Cunningham led the offense - going 3-3 at the plate. Covey, Drake, Ella Calhoun Calhoun, and Justice Krus each added hits.

On Wednesday the Lady Eagles Varsity Team took on Morton on the road to continue the rain-delayed game that began last Thursday. The Eagles were victorious - winning 6-1.

The offense was led by Mara Hindenburg (2025) with 3 hits, including a home run. Ella Cunningham (2025), Justice Krus (2024), Shelby Covey (2024), Gabby Drake (2026), Brooklyn Millhollin (2024), Hannah Hopwood (2024), and Hayley Powers (2024) each added one hit for a total of 10.

The bats were hot with 12 hits total. Ella Cunningham (2025) and Gabby Drake (2026) led the team with 3 hits a piece, Shelby Covey (2024) followed with 2 hits (both home runs), and Hindenburg (2025), @justicekrus (2024), Brooklyn Millhollin (2024) and Powers (2024) each added 1 hit.

The Eagles took home a big win on Monday, facing Lewistown on the road.  The final score was 13-1.   Justice Krus (2024) had awesome day at the plate – going 5 for 5 including 3 homeruns.  Ella Cunningham (2025) and Hayley Powers (2024) both added hits to the board.

Mara Hindenburg (2025) started with a homerun in the 1st, Justice Krus (2024) went yard in the 6th. Krus led the offense with 3 hits, Hindenburg, Hopwood (2024), and Centoni (2026) added 2. Ella Cunningham (2025), Covey (2024), Cleeton (2024), and Powers (2024) each added 1.

The offense was led by Brooklyn Millhollin (2024) who delivered 2 hits. She was followed by Justice Krus (2024), Ella Cunningham (2025), Gabby Drake (2026) and Hannah Hopwood (2024) each delivering 1 hit. Hopwood delivered a well placed sacrifice bunt in the third.
