Congratulations to Peichao Peichao Li and Anupam Anupam Garg on their great work! The culmination of many hours in the dark! science.sciencemag.org/content/364/64…

Latest work with Euiseok Kim & Ed Callaway, in which we describe the organization of inputs from LP to visual cortex in the mouse. TL;DR: LP is topographically organized! And LDVL also projects to visual cortex. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

Excited to share my first graduate work with Ed Callaway (& our lab's first preprint!) on corticothalamic pathways from V1 L6 to LGN, pulvinar/LP and TRN: how L6 affects its thalamic targets in vivo is dynamic & changes a LOT depending on how it's engaged!

Congratulations to Maribel Patiño Maribel Patino MD PhD on her selection as a 2020 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow!! pdsoros.org/meet-the-class… We're lucky to have her in the lab!

I’m delighted to announce the winner of the scholarship, Isaias Ghezae from UCSB. His early experience with injustice has taken him on a thrilling intellectual path. Read his inspiring story & share in his joy of discovery, borne of pain Black In Neuro 🧠 dropbox.com/s/up01duhl3xjd…

Congratulations Perri!! Perri Callaway Feeney Lab frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

Excited to share the culminating work of my PhD w/ Ed Callaway - we find in vivo evidence of L5 & L6 corticothalamic projections from V1 serving distinct “driving” vs “modulators” functions in the rodent pulvinar (plus intriguing interactions with SC inputs!) - #tweeprint 👇 1/9
