Deben buoyage is now in new positions, be aware that you can't see the buoys if you are leaving the Deben until you are down river past the rocks on the Western bank .Oreford river buoyage is also now in place for the season.

If you are planning to be out and about in the Havengore area next week, take note that ".......from 12-15 October the Potton Island access road will be undergoing repairs. Potton Bridge will still be operating but there may be short delays for marine traffic."

Leaving or entering the Medway, beware of a large new yellow mooring buoy NE of the ro-ro ferry jetty at Garrison Point. The jetty is back in use and there is a permanent line attached between it and the mooring buoy.

A fishing boat rolled over and sank in the Deben entrance today, close to the Knoll Spit PHB. We are advised that there is room to pass it with extreme care, north of mid channel, closer to the Deben SHB. Deben HM John White is hoping it will be recovered and removed tomorrow.
