Hi, my first attempt to record MN2-2 with 80k - 0QSPK, + V53 , decoder, and can not decode anything . Maybe too low S/N for the decoder. With 23 º max. elev EAST. I wll check soon the next pass with higher elevation, It is strange , normally with MN2 I would get picture...

Hi, At 14:50 UTC , I also recorded the next pass , of Meteor MN2-2 , northbound , max elev W46º . 0QPSK , 80K symbol rate, this time , 4400 lines , but including a black bar at then , matching with a drop signal area. (it is correct) .

Hi, after checking several days QFH 1,5 wl with some noise glitches, today I changed back to the simple narrow tall QFH, and the S/N is less strong , but the decoded signal is much clean ... I will continue invest. Those are the two recent MN2-2 passes , (16 and 61 elev.)

Hi, testing QFH 1,5 wl /0,75 Turn/0,20 Aspect R. (open helix loop). I wanted to check if I could get better overall performance, than previous QFH Tall, 1wl /0,25 T/ 0,23 AR. (closed helix loop) . So far , no big difference. And too big... ,METEOR- M N2 09;12 UTC (elev 40W)

My first time-lapse. Thanks to some instruction and tips from Nichole “Vapor” Ayers, I caught my first aurora. After seeing the result, I told her this felt like fishing. Prepping the camera, the angle, the settings, the mount, then setting your timer and coming back to hope you got a
