My eldest son was diagnosed with autism at 3 and was completely non-verbal until 6. He spent his education moving schools, several of which found him too much hassle. Today he passed his GCSEs in Maths and English. If your child is similar, keep faith. The future is bright.

The girl that got told she wouldn’t pass any GCSE’s & A levels, and failed GCSE English 3 times, only went and got a FIRST in her dissertation!!!!🙌🏻 There is no stopping me now (not that there ever was prior🤪).

We are all different. We all have different facial features. We like different food and have different hobbies. We learn and think differently. Given we’re all individually different, why are neurodivergent’s stignmatised for being ‘different’?

Yesterday was a day that was filled with such wholesome events from partaking as a guest speaker at the UniofNorthampton Autism Study Day to celebrating the succsss of many of very own inspirational students and staff at the @northampton_su STAAR Awards. I’ve never felt so proud👏🏼

We fly to NYC in the morning…my daughter has written a letter to the pilot as a method of communicating her feelings. I couldn’t love her more 🥰 planning a holiday is different when you have to factor in additional needs but it’s so worth it 🌆🇺🇸🥰 #autism #ASD British Airways
