The Upper Limb class commenced again on the GUH stroke unit which is an amazing way of increasing intensity and repetitions. Thanks to the Curley family for the new Saebo equipment which they donated.#strokerehab #GUH Dylan Shinners, Emma Concannon, Ciara Clarke

We need commission ( DOH/HSE,Age advocacy groups, Expert MDT in Gerontology & Nursing Home Providers)on residential care to decide our strategy to funding, models, governance, staffing, training & regulation, continuously informed by gerontological research& education RTÉ Prime Time

Prof. Ronan Collins RTÉ Prime Time Thanks for your work on this Ronan. I'd add adult safeguarding legislation, as recommended by the Law Reform Commission to that list. We can't continue to rely on the Clare Doyles to speak up, staff and systems must be mandated to report..

Great day of shared learning in SVUH Occupational Therapy Dept with Restorative Therapies on neuromuscular electronic stimulation and how to maximise our device parameters to support and enhance OT/PT motor, sensory and functional recovery goals with our neuro population of patients!
