The fact that the violence of animal exploitation is not commonly accepted as immoral does not mean we should not be clear in rejecting it. So promoting “humane” exploitation as a good or “compassionate” interim step is not only illogical, it’s simply wrong. Condemn all violence.

This sounds like a decent definition of veganism from The Vegan Society - so long as it’s made clear that humans are animals. At present they are listed as if separate categories.
