This is the most destructive bill Congress has passed in American history. To specifically target our most vulnerable populations and take away health care and food assistance of hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanias is egregious and we must hold these leaders accountable.

Rob Bresnahan: “If a final reconciliation package guts Medicaid, we will not be voting for it.” The bill cuts Medicaid, and Bresnahan just voted for it. He cannot be trusted. #PA08

Republicans just voted to kick 17 million Americans off their health care and cut SNAP benefits for the 42 million Americans depending on SNAP to put food on the table - all in the name of a tax cut for the billionaire class. They turned their backs on the American people, and

The federal budget bill Congress just passed is shameful and it is going to hurt Pennsylvania. The Republican members of our delegation who voted for this bill just voted for: cutting healthcare and food assistance for over half a million Pennsylvanians, eliminating 26,000

This 4th of July, patriotism isn’t just about waving a flag. It’s about standing up for democracy and protecting the freedoms and rights it represents. Democracy is not a spectator sport, we're all in this together.  🇺🇸 Wishing you a safe & happy Independence Day! -Dwight

This isn't about politics, this is about people — and the people I serve got screwed as a result of this federal budget bill. 310K Pennsylvanians will lose their Medicaid, 140K will lose food assistance, and 25 rural hospitals are now under threat because of this bill. The

I hope that the primary to replace Dwight Evans includes a robust discussion about transit and housing. It is the most transit dependent district in Pennsylvania and deserves representation that knows and values that fact.

Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R-PA) disclosed 25 more trades this morning, bringing his total since taking office to 626. He ran on banning stock trading, said two months ago that he'd set up a blind trust, and could presumably tell his broker to stop trading on his behalf at any time.

In 2000, we declared measles eliminated in the US. Now, 2025 already has the highest number of cases since 1992. This is the opposite of progress.

While Texans battle tragic and deadly flooding, Governor Abbott and House Republicans are plotting a mid-decade gerrymander. They should be modernizing emergency response — not rigging maps. Pass it on. nytimes.com/2025/06/09/us/…

Trump's tariffs will cost the average household $2,400 per year, estimates the Yale Budget Lab. And they take a bigger chunk out of working class paychecks. The Admin hasn't released its analysis, suggesting it didn't do any, or its numbers are worse. budgetlab.yale.edu/research/state…

I am the District Attorney of Philadelphia. If I had evidence on my desk of a pedophile ring, you think I would sit on it? Hell no. I would bring charges so fast your head would spin. That’s what real prosecutors do. We don’t protect predators.
