This week marks my 5th anniversary of being a flight instructor at Saint Louis University. Time goes fast when you're having fun! I'm looking forward to the challenge of teaching a new class in the fall and meeting the students of our Class of 2029!

Congratulations to Sydney Nimerick on finishing up her multi-commercial! She’s now going to pursue her flight instructor certificate. We hosted our annual Girls in Aviation Day at the hangar today with over a hundred high school girls. The keynote speaker was Parks’ alum Air Force Major Alicia Canetta who spoke about inspiration and how to stay disciplined in pursuing her dreams. SLU School of Science and Engineering
