Kenya Ethereum Node Update 🇰🇪 Batteries and solar panels are being installed that will power Ethereum validators as well as provide internet and stable electricity for the local community ☀️🔋

Progress continues toward a fully off-the-grid Ethereum validator setup in rural Kenya! I'll be traveling there in January to help configure the nodes and to work with local schools teaching children about Ethereum staking.

DVT is still early. Ethereum home stakers on residential internet connections have problems that simply don't happen in data centers. High & variable latencies, DNS issues, and unexpected downtime... But Ethereum needs more home stakers and DVT will enable thousands more!

All green for the "Luminous Lynx" cluster using @ObolNetwork for the Lido Simple DVT trial on Holesky ✅✅✅

A new low-cost machine from Homenode supported by ether.fi that doesn't run an Ethereum mainnet chain but just runs the DVT clients using @DAppNode. Similar to the Raspberry Pi tests this will be deployed in Kenya over Starlink showing the range of options that DVT unlocks!
