This has been a busy year, but I’m excited to announce that I’m back home in Idaho Falls and started my new job at the Post Register yesterday! I’m very excited to serve my local community and reconnect with my hometown.

For the 2nd time this month, McClatchy Media and the Idaho Statesman failed to pay their employees on time. McClatchy has an obligation to bargain with its workers over changes in working conditions. It has failed to meet this basic legal requirement, and we will not stand for it.

After a year and a half, my journey at the Post Register has come to an end. From being the sole reporter for 6 months, tackling complex water issues and other interesting topics, this has been an incredible experience. I will start my new reporting job on Monday, so stay tuned!
