I was very sad to learn this evening that UCU President Elect, Nita Sanghera has passed away. Nita was formidable, tenacious, a gifted orator, and impeccably stylish. She inspired others to fight against injustice, & will never be forgotten. Rest in power, Nita.

Saddened by the passing of Nita Sanghera, VP of UCU. She was a giant of the labour movement & inspired WOC like myself. I proudly shared a panel with her discussing the rise of the far-right & at the demo for David Muritu. My thoughts are with her loved ones. Rest in power. ❤️

I often offer these arguments but I've never had any kind of response from the relevant researchers. If the research *doesn't* leave all the significant pedagogical decisions to teachers - if teachers *don't* get left to do all the real work, I wish someone would explain why.
