SPIN-POV this week by Dr Prasad Hanagandi.. #Lysosomal spectrum should be high on list of differentials when one finds dark thalami on T2 sequences in a suspected case of Neurometabolic/ Neurodegenerative disorder.. #pedineurorad

SPIN-POV by Robert Goetti Bilateral Thalamic lesions demonstrating Trilaminar appearance on DWI/ADC sequences in the appropriate clinical context should point towards a likely diagnosis of ANEC. Any other differentials? Leave a comment..Happy learning #PedsNeurorad #pedineurorad

#SPIN-#POV: This week, a very instructive case from a dynamic friend of #SPIN Aisling Fagan. The point of view made is that in a neonate, T1 trumps over T2 to show the dysplastic lesions of Tuberous Sclerosis #TS. Thank you Dr Fagan!

#SPIN-#POV: Our point of view this week is the never to miss differential of diffuse midline glioma in cases like this- it was referred to us as “ADEM” in a deteriorating child. Also note, nasty high grade tumors in kids don’t always enhance with contrast! Courtesy BPNG

The #SPIN-#POV this week from our cool spinner Dr. Ajay Taranath is on how to differentiate between Colobomas and Morning Glory Disc Abnormality. We hope you find this slide useful!

It's time to share this week's #SPIN-#POV. Developmental Venous Anomalies (DVA) can thrombose and bleed, not always benign in character these lesions! Would you still do a DSA here- share your #POV..

This week’s #SPIN-#POV brought to you by an incredibly intelligent spinner Sniya Sudhakar. When you spot the nodular and curvilinear perisylvian heterotopia, think of a problem with the centrosomes. This ones an example of CEP135 mutation. We are collecting these folks, RSVP!

Hey folks it’s #SPIN-#POV time. In a young child, expect low ADC values in the adenoids and lymphoid tissues of the Waldeyers ring. This is physiological. This weekend, keep it within normal limits!

This week’s SPIN-POV: In a case of a pediatric ADEM, always look at the optic nerves. Optic disc swelling, protrusion, neuritis, and perineuritis with periorbital fat stranding and post-contrast enhancement are highly suggestive of MOGAD and can clinch the diagnosis.

Here is a concrete example where overcalling IIH can negatively affect patient care. Late teens patient with complex medical history presenting with headaches. Empty sella and prominent optic nerve fluid? How would you call it?

This week’s SPIN-POV: In a case of suspected CNS pediatric vasculitis, obtaining chest and abdominal imaging might often help in the diagnosis. This patient had generalised lymphadenopathy and lung parenchymal changes, suggesting an infectious pathology. Nodal biopsy revealed TB.
