I’m an ST7 and won’t be a resident doctor come August. I’ll be voting yes to industrial action and will be taking part. I will gain nothing from this. My present and future colleagues deserve to be paid appropriately for their skills, training and responsibility.

I'm struggling to see how voting no on striking for pay will fix training? Is anyone able to explain? Instead, voting no will send a message to the government that the BMA are weak… resulting in further worsening of standards for Drs, including with training

As ever, endless nonsense spoken about this. Your money has not already been taxed. Inheritance tax isn’t a tax on your wealth. It’s a tax on the windfall of the person receiving it, which they have not earned. We tax earned income too much and unearned income too little.

I rely on doctors to keep me alive. If my heart wobbles and they arent there, im screwed. Yet i support the strike by junior (resident) doctors. Because someone whose bust a gut for years to qualify, who saves lives, is worth 22 quid an hour. Its not complicated.
