At Cancer Research UK we have been calling for the UK Government to raise the age of sale for tobacco products, so I'm delighted to hear of its inclusion in today's #KingsSpeech. This will be a vital step towards a #SmokefreeUK and ending cancers caused by smoking, so I now urge governments

Lower smoking rates will ultimately free up NHS money and workforce to tackle other unpreventable illness.
