Wrote this because I see Millenial-Indian Americans both running away from “the family friend group” but also craving the upsides it provides. Welcome your thoughts rohansiddhanti.medium.com/why-are-we-rej…

The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if

Appreciate the coverage from Ngai Yeung and the Endpoints News team on Pepper … it’s been a labor of love from day one 🌶️ If you’re someone that’s even thinking about starting a community, do it. The world is lacking in this category. endpts.com/inside-pepper-…

I’m not really into Politics - I don’t follow it close. I’m in CA, doesn’t matter much. I have employed over 1,000 Mexican workers over my 20 years in the trades business. I understand the culture well. Yesterday, I have two Hispanic US Citizen employees who work for me. We

BREAKING: Doximity just released a free AI scribe for US clinicians, accelerating commoditization/the race to the bottom. With no plans to monetize, $DOCS puts pressure on startups like Abridge, Nabla, etc to move beyond notes -- into RCM, billing, compliance, & more.

I think a lot about AI in care delivery, especially in psychiatry and therapy. Clinician-facing and admin benefits are clear, but clinical care replacement is less certain. We must rigorously evaluate where AI can augment scarce resources without letting hype obscure reality.

new post - a few thoughts reading these AI papers 1) patients aren't like the vignettes in NEJM, but we should aim to make the average patient encounter look MORE like a vignette. There are ways to do that. 2) we should focus more resources on AI to handle simple cases

Spot on. We must all be at least a bit skeptical of the recent deluge of LLM performance against licensing exams. The undifferentiated patient who presents in clinic couldn't be more different from a Step 3 vignette. Let's ensure we're assessing for the right kind of LLM smarts.

Do I love paying a recurring monthly subscription for my mattress? No. Will I continue paying it, in perpetuity, because the product is just that good? 1000% yes. Eight Sleep 🚀 💤

I see 3 categories forming: direct to physician with unmatched distribution (DOCS, OE), deep pocketed direct to system with good distribution but low loyalty from docs (Abridge, Nuance, etc.), and the long tail of niche, specialty specific players. Who scores the KO? 🥊

Fantastic read from Dhruv Khullar on the power of LLMs in the exam room, predictions on where we’ll gain the most leverage from this tech, and watch points (particularly as they relate to patient-oriented applications)

So tired of all the 'clinician in the loop' healthcare AI taglines 🥱. The loop is not intelligence. The loop is insurance, shifting liability to the only person who can get sued - the doctor. Everyone, plz update your 2026 tagline bingo cards 🤣 👀
