Congress will be voting soon on H.R. 2864. This bill aims to ban all DJI drones by revoking FCC licensing. (107 pilots), If you own a business using DJI drones, this could be devastating! It would also affect firefighters, police, agriculture and more. ⬇️ droneadvocacyalliance.com

With all the buzz about “drones” in the news, referring to the many sightings of “UAP” Please be cautious when you are flying, especially at night. You could get into a collision or worse. Do not engage or follow these objects, as always get FAA permission first before you fly.

We completely agree with John’s assessment. This is clearly not hobbyists with Quadcopter style drones. It’s not commercial 107 pilots doing their job either. Also, FAA states, all drones that operate must have remote ID. This allows law enforcement to view all drones in the air.

Did anyone get a new drone for Christmas? Be sure to check out FAA Drone-Zone for information about safety, rules, laws, and flying tips. Make sure you take the TRUST test before you fly. faa.gov/uas

Please do not hinder fire efforts in California! Do not fly in no-fly zones, check for NOTAMS from the The FAA ✈️ use common sense, and be safe! twz.com/air/one-of-jus…

Well everyone, for better or worse DJI has removed their geofencing. Be aware you need to apply for LAANC approval before flying. These rules are the final authority and you must get permission from FAA to fly in restricted areas.

Classic media fearmongering to damage the drone industry. DJI was never required to have geofencing! How about this for a headline... BREAKING: Skydio and other USA drone manufacturers NEVER had these geofencing safety measures!!! breitbart.com/tech/2025/01/1…

Some of the newer drones are small, under 250g, and have prop guards. Great for newer drone pilots. dronedj.com/2025/03/13/pro…

We use Aloft for our flight maps. Here is our area in Alaska. Where do you fly? If you haven’t used Aloft Air Control app you should try it out, it’s free on Android and IOS. A great resource!
