I remember when Dr. Jessica Lamb first showed me this idea and I thought it would be THE COOLEST if one chain transfer agent could mediate anionic, cationic, AND radical polymerization. Congrats The Lamb Lab UMN !
We are VERY excited to highlight our first SuPRCat Paper: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… By combining synthetic (Yoon Group), spectroscopic (Niels Damrauer), and computational (Robert Paton) groups, we developed a general method for photosensitized alkene aziridination. (1/n)
We are so excited for this awesome symposium at ACS Denver! We hope to see you all there! ACS POLY Division
Our paper on Organocatalyzed Carbonylation of Alkyl Halides is now in @angew_Chem. Congratulations to Robert Paton and Miyake Research Group! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100… (1/6)
With #ACSFall2024 approaching & the fall recruiting cycle ramping up soon after, please help share our editorial to students & postdocs that are applying to jobs or thinking about a career in industry 👩💼🧑🏻💼💼🏭📧 pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… CC ACS POLY Division ACS PMSE Division ACS BIOT #chemjobs
On Saturday we participated in a Science Communication Workshop hosted by the Erins of This Podcast Will Kill You
BIG congratulations to our center director Garret Miyake for being a finalist for the Blavatnik Awards! Miyake Research Group
Our paper on Photooxidation of Polyolefins is now out in @angew_Chem! Congratulations to the Krummel, Paton (Robert Paton) and Miyake (Miyake Research Group) SuPRCat groups! Read on below for a quick summary of our work! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…
Congrats to the Paton (Robert Paton), Damrauer (Niels Damrauer), and Miyake (Miyake Research Group) groups for their collaborative work on photocatalyzed C-F bond reduction and PFAS degradation published today in Nature! nature.com/articles/d4158…
The National Science Foundation awarded CSU Department of Chemistry Professor Garret Miyake a $1.8 million grant to launch a center dedicated to developing a more environmentally-friendly method of making chemicals. Read more about it through Elements: col.st/O1UUh
