Congratulations!🥳 The Association of Biomedical Engineers, Medical Engineers and Bioengineers BioMedEng Association was officially launched today in Imperial College London Bioengineering. I can't wait for #BioMedEng21 which will be held EngineeringSheffield Bioengineering, The University of Sheffield on the 6&7 September 2021.

Happy Postdoc Appreciation Week!🥳 I wish all postdocs, the middleman of academia, a very appreciated week😉 UK NationalPostdocAppreciation Imperial College London #NPAW2020 #LovePostdocs #NPAWgifChallenge Image credit: pda.mit.edu

We have conducted usability testing for our low-cost unilateral external fixator designed for LMICs, while we were complying with the measures in place due to the pandemic. Special thanks to Sarah Stewart and Louise McMenemy for their brilliant job. Imperial College London Bioengineering

I am so excited as we are about to run the second clinical study on the low-cost Imperial external fixator. This device can simply be manufactured to standard tolerances using basic manufacturing processes. Imperial College London Bioengineering #ExternalFixator #MedicalDevice #Bone

Last year I applied for 3 funding and gladly I have been awarded one of the most prestigious and competitive fellowships for early career researchers, MSCA IF🥳. This achievement would have not been possible without the supports of my incredible PI, Prof. Bull. ExHoDBioengineering

I am so excited for securing an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council IAA grant to locally manufacture Imperial external #fixator (imperial.ac.uk/external-fixat…) and run the second clinical trial in #LMICs with this device. Bioengineering Imperial College London

I’ve been in touch with a surgeon on the ground. No words can describe the human tragedy that is happening in North West Syria. The world is “watching” and failing thousands of people who have been impacted. Come and join us at 'New Leg, New Life!' booth on 16 & 17 #March to do some very exciting activities😀 📍Maison de la Poste, #Brussels #scienceiswonderful Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Imperial College London @Biomechanics14 Clément Favier

This was my first international outreach and one of the best outreach experiences I have had so far, so I wanted to say a huge thank you to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for your incredible organisation😀 Btw, thank you for including a photo of our booth in this tweet😊 #ScienceIsWonderful

Over 400 pupils visited our booth at #ScienceIsWonderful in #Brussels and learned about Bioengineering, e.g. prosthetics . Kudos to my incredible colleagues, Diana Toderiță, @ClarkAngus, and Clément Favier who made it happen @Biomechanics14 Imperial College London Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions #STEM

🦾Bioengineering researchers are transforming trauma care. They have developed cutting-edge “bone fixators” - splints that anyone caught in trauma zones can quickly build to save their limbs and their lives. Find out more 👇

This would not have been possible without the support of many people. This is 100% #humanitarian, funded by National Institute for Health and Care Research, with no financial benefit. If you know anyone who would be interested, ask them to contact me at [email protected] Imperial College London Bioengineering

It was a pleasure attending the 1st ICRC Conference on Weapon-Wounded Care in #Geneva. I'd like to thank Dr Rahul Koti for inviting me to share our experience in frugal innovations. It was an honour to meet Dr Paul Ley, who kindly helped me demonstrate our device. Musculoskeletal Mechanics Group
