Deadline coming up for applications to the #cryoem course this March. It's a great opportunity for novices to learn the basics of sample prep, microscope operation, and image processing. And it's always fun! Lander Lab Jennifer Cash CSHL Courses meetings.cshl.edu/courses.aspx?c…

Congratulations to FSU Cell & Molecular Biology Program student Nidhi Walia for earning a Student Research Achievement Award (aka poster prize) at the annual Biophysical Society meeting. Well done! (but I'll throw in some props to all the MOB Graduate Program at FSU students who attended!).

Happy to finally share our publication on multiplexable, genetically-encoded barcodes for EM now out Nature Biotechnology. If you are interested in this technology, I am happy to discuss all its details (just DM me, I am also looking for opportunities to present these ideas in a talk).

Nice to see a concise summary of Stefan Huber et all, as well as our own research on #gasvesicles, featured in NatureStructMolBiol. It's great to witness GVs garnering increased interest!

Just published in NatureStructMolBiol: The @SchurLab uncovers the architecture of the #poxviruscore using a combination of #cryoEMmethods & molecular modeling. The key component: Core protein A10. Read more: bit.ly/4802GUn Co-first authors Julia Datler& Jesse Hansen Jesse Hansen

Pretty neat to see my structure posted on the Nobel prize page today 😄. Congrats to Institute for Protein Design and all those involved here :)
