Chief Justice Mun says Yoon's argument about how the liberals' obstruction justified the martial law is not acceptable. We are likely headed toward the impeachment being sustained.

Justice: Emergency power not justified because of Yoon's perceived threat of budget blockade, parliamentary conflict, *as well as* the alleged election commission-related claims (!)

Mun rejects Yoon's argument that he declared martial law as a warning to the public. Notes that Yoon also sent military to the National Assembly, thus going much further than a warning.

We are not at the conclusion yet but there is no doubt about where this is headed. Not a single one of Yoon's argument is surviving. Court says unambiguously, the martial law decree was procedurally and substantively unconstitutional.

Court: Yoon's raid of the National Election Commission violates the law because it is a warrantless search and seizure, and infringes the NEC's constitutional status as an independent organ.

Court: Sending the military to the National Assembly and the National Election Commission is a rejection of democracy and broad-based infringement of constitutional rights.

Court: The fact that the martial law was lifted quickly is because of the legislature and the public's conscientious action, and does not serve to lighten the severity of Yoon's constitutional violation.

Court: Yoon's action destroys the foundation of democracy. The sharp-elbowed tactic by the National Assembly is a matter of political resolution, and Yoon had the opportunity to persuade the public. He had no right to exclude the legislature by declaring martial law.

Court: Unanimous decision. Yoon is removed from office as of 11:22 a.m.
