Why does Royal College of General Practitioners train GPs to a fine dining level of service when NHS England wants to place them in a fast food healthcare environment? Access is prioritised over bolstering continuity of care which has lead to endemic low morale, low satisfaction & attrition of GPs from the NHS

Dr Kartik Modha (Tiko) ๐ Royal College of General Practitioners NHS England Because they know that the NHS will not exist in its current form for much longer. Because most trainees will look to work abroad or in the private sector. And thatโs okay. Thatโs more than okay.

Dr Kartik Modha (Tiko) ๐ Royal College of General Practitioners NHS England Itโs worse than that. Access access access has reduced GPs capability and capacity to do the work that trumps that, which is complexity, multi morbidity and end of life care. Now hospitals overflowโฆ.but the voting public were conned by the false access promises. No one wins.
