I haven’t dipped into the world of flash fiction for a while, but read Hussain’s War and War today and found it quite powerful. It is a story that shows the difficulty of choosing any position in times of war, and how each fails to put an end to the violence. Check it out here:

THE WAY OF UNITY is one of those rare dark fantasy books: deep, thought-provoking, character-driven, and beautifully written.

It's been a year since publication but this is probably my favourite short story I've written to date. I hope my future writing continues in this vein. Give it a read if you're into South Asian historical fiction with a sprinkle of fantasy!
