I finally found this Fighting Fantasy book, which has been eluding me for years. I still have five to go to complete my Puffin run but this one satisfyingly bridges a gap in the collection.

Lots of cool people interviewed in the first ep of Shudder’s #HorrorsGreatest. Particularly great to see Jeffrey Reddick 🌈👻. He wasn’t discussing the Final Destination franchise but instead was extolling the virtues of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Promises to be an interesting series.

The real #1 actually hit the UK newsstands on 11/10/79 (NB the cover date always represents the final day that this issue should be displayed on the shelves) with the cover photo being sourced from a Genesis promo over 5 years earlier and transfers (1 of 4) drawn by Dave Gibbons.

I’m digging the new ‘vintage’ Stephen King paperback covers. But am I silly enough to add them to my collection even though I really don’t have the room (and already have multiple copies of each of these books)?

I just informed my teenage daughter that she’ll be on a school camp next week on #FridayThe13th. Strangely, she didn’t find this nugget of information quite as cool as I did.
