On our trip to Glacier NP, my kids and I got to drive the 99-year-old wooden tour boat that I drove my college summers. So fun to share that wonderful place and experience w/ my kids

Last weekend, I attended my 30-year high school reunion in Great Falls, MT. It was a blast to visit, reconnect, and dance with new and old friends. If you have a reunion coming up and are on the fence, I encourage you to go!

I took my daughters on their first backpacking trip this weekend. It ended up being a hard-fought 2.5-mile hike with/ 1000 feet of elevation and an almost nonexistent trail for half the distance. They showed incredible tenacity, but I wish this first one had been easier!

I've been using various web-based apps for discounts and cash back from online shopping, and CapitalOne Shopping is one of the most fruitful. If you want to check it out, you can use the link capitaloneshopping.com/r/cfec9264-9f0… and earn $40 credit (and crazily, I'll do the same)

Every engineering student must grasp the differences between mass, weight, and normal forces. Professor Dave’s excellent video covers these concepts well, but I believe a clearer explanation of the sine and cosine origins at 2:40 would make it even better. youtu.be/57gKnA94Doc?li…

Last week we got to volunteer and stay at the Deadman Lookout west of Red feather Lakes for 2 days and nights. What a memorable experience an opportunity to climb 5 flights of stairs in a strong wind more times than I can count!

Given my love for mountains, I love a good mountain climbing quote. This one by Harold V. Melchert. Set a goal, but enjoy each passing moment, my friends.
