So Patrick Brown's mother-in law just gave an interview. Why do people think nepotism in government is a good thing? That one really makes you shake your head. That person couldn't even explain what THEY did to win people over. Nothing irritates me more than nepo candidates

Takeaways. Greenland is a piece of land. Critical race is a derge ruining the world. But he can't say what it is. Woke. DEI. Gone. Finally mediocrity is free to earn their way to the top. Women are victims. He knows 2 Black people, 2 Latinos. His hair didn't move.

Take care of yourselves out there. I don't come on here much anymore but every time I do the platform feels so dead compared to years ago when it was an exciting digital public square that wasn't always about politics, death, oppression, tyranny, and mayhem. I miss the bird. 😔

"As Cole’s life and death accentuates, the cost of “cool” — the ways that we try to manage or control our emotional wellness — cannot be divorced from our physical wellness." It's definitely a cautionary tale. Why I put my self care first, even if it means professional losses.

This right here represents 15 years of dedication, focus, and resilience which started as a racist incident at a frosh week event in Montreal, that then led to me reading every book there was to read all while completing a diss on a different topic! This #NewBook drops 4.22.25 👇🏾

I did a podcast where I spoke about the creative practice of writing and the production cycle of an academic book. Writing is an art. Writers are artists. I'm a Black writer, which means I interrogate myself as much as I do the topic. Enjoy! #podcast ❤️🙏🏾 open.spotify.com/episode/4vD4W6…

I wrote a piece today on Substack about why I wrote this book! It's officially out today, and I'm excited to share where the idea came from. The personal isn't always political, but the political is always personal 😊 open.substack.com/pub/drcherylth…

Moral is - it ain't over until it's over! Liberal win!! #CanadaElection #Liberals #PMCarney Doesn't mean I like all their politics but the PC leader literally said with pride "I haven't changed my mind in 20 years." Social media wasn't a thing in 2005. That was it for me

The NDP downfall is symptomatic of the Left focusing on complaining about shit but no socialist ideas that could actually happen. We want radical but it's gotta add up with the $$. You can't just complain about the rich and have no real solutions for low income #CanadaVotes

One of the things I love about being an academic who embraces creative arts is that I get it's not either or but both that and the other. This binaristic us or them stuff really has got to go

Told y’all on my stream Trump was getting involved this weekend. All the signs were there. This is madness and it makes America *less* safe, not more. So much for “America First”. Trump is a total fraud & conman.
