Two interesting Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy cyber-related evidence sessions coming up on Monday, on ransomware and offensive cyber, evidence from: Kelly Butler (@marshmclennan), Sadie Creese, Jamie MacColl, ᴛɪᴍ ꜱᴛᴇᴠᴇɴꜱ and Andrew Dwyer committees.parliament.uk/event/23343/fo…

Today two of our steering committee members - Andrew Dwyer and ᴛɪᴍ ꜱᴛᴇᴠᴇɴꜱ - will be providing evidence to a session on 'Offensive Cyber' to the JCNSS.

I was just about to suggest people read Joe Devanny's substack on allied cyber operations (joedevanny.substack.com/p/allies-and-c…), which very much develops on the perspective I was (attempting, at least) to make at the sessions yesterday.

Very much looking forward to holding workshops on the future of offensive cyber - especially at a time of significant change. If you are interested, please email [email protected] to get the link to the registration form

📢 Earlier this month, Andrew Dwyer gave evidence to the UK Parliament's Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy (JCNSS) on offensive cyber - demonstrating the ISG's key work in providing expertise to policy in information and cyber security royalholloway.ac.uk/research-and-e…

A quote from me in The Times and The Sunday Times yesterday. I was perhaps being somewhat provocative, but can a self-proclaimed technical authority (the UK NCSC) be also driving market and political change? thetimes.com/uk/technology-…
