#Kisoro At the end of today's field operations, that involved tree planting in the hills I handed over 3M cash support to our Nyanamo local group to help in raising fruit seedlings for farmers involvement in agroforestry with Million Trees International Organisation Paul Taremwa #GenerationRestoration

In Karamoja, I was received by Mr Bruno Okwir, National Forestry Authority-Uganda RM. We moved all over Moroto Forest Reserve. In 2018, I met Mr Bruno at NFA hdqrs. He acknowledged 12000 assorted seedlings, planted in Ibanda As Sinoway, we're to green Karamoja deserts using seedballs. Cc Maggie Kigozi

I confirm the availability of about 40,000 tree seedlings of Grivelia, jackfruits, F2 Hass avocado, Prunus Africunus etc at our Nyanamo community nursery bed, in Kisoro. In 2023, after restoring Kazogo 20 Ha forest, we started this nursery bed to give out seedlings to farmers.

Like in Uganda, we opted to work with the religions to enhance the greening campaign of growing trees with churches, mosques etc. Using religions for community sensitization is the big deal.
