Fun fact: Our chicken marinade is inspired by Pepe, and the rice texture (Yiyi One One) is by Tess. Legends 🫶🏽❤️

What Ghanaians must understand is that all the hospitals mentioned are private limited liability companies established to make profit — just like Nyaho Medical Centre, Accra Medical Centre, Euracare, and several others. Even though the UGMC was built with a government-acquired

✅ 6 month HIV check up done! ✅ Viral load remains undetectable, which means HIV cannot be sexually transmitted to others while on effective treatment. In short, undetectable equals untransmittable (U=U). 💊 One pill a day keeps me rocking and rolling. 💪 Onwards!

Anti-intellectualism is how broken societies comfort themselves. When the schools collapse and the government stops thinking long term, the people start celebrating shortcuts and that’s where we are. Common sense does not build an economy. Common sense does not treat a patient.

The irony of the school being named Yaa Asantewaa, a literal embodiment of anti-colonial resistance. Coloniality has normalized & desensitized us to this violation. Cut your hair, don’t speak “vernacular,” contain your imagination within the colonizer’s. When shall we be free?!

SIKAOFFICIAL🦍 Unpopular Opinion: Forcing high school girls to cut their hair is another form of oppression against young African girls, it’s not discipline.

Why do young girls have to cut their hair in Gh? I typed this on ChatGPT and the first point that came was Colonial and Missionary Legacy. Schools shd have prescribed hairstyle but cutting the hair in 2025 is outdated, these remnants of Colonialism and must be abolished.

We have all these useless standards about how people should appear in school, driven by ideas of moral uprightness, yet our society remains corrupt and morally bankrupt. What exactly does the length of a student’s hair have to do with anything? How does it affect learning

It should never be said that they cannot handle this issue alongside others they consider “important.” How exactly do they define “important issues”? If public concern about its operations isn’t

Your intelligence (assumed or otherwise) does not make you an expert on everything. Sometimes, sit out certain conversations when you lack the required knowledge or experience.

This write-up is a humble conversation, not aggression. Again, I'm no writer or debater, but an intrigued common student who also believes in the goodwill of my country and its leaders. I understand the diverse views on whether we should keep our hair. I also get the fears:

You are one of my favorite politicians, but I have to disagree. Character is not in the hair we cut off our children’s heads, it’s in the values we fail to live by as adults. When a nation starts equating short hair with good morals, we have lost sight of what it truly means to

1. Haircuts were introduced in boarding schools in Anglo-West Africa because white women (who were the missionaries’ wives and teachers in these schools) were scared of lice. They assumed the Afro hair had all sort of insects in it. 2. The white grooming codes indicated that for
