"It is now life or death for this Labour government... I lead a group in the House of Commons called Blue Labour. And we believe the party can still be saved – if it remembers who it was built for." Dan Carden writes for the Mail on Sunday (link below).

There are three reasons for Reform’s electoral success. Immigration. Immigration. Immigration. Either Labour deals with it, or Nigel Farage will > Mail on Sunday > dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…

On Thursday the voters delivered a clear message. Labour’s response: Send out its leader to say he would go “further and faster”, and a cabinet minister to say concern over rape gangs was dog-whistling. The Tories: Ban 14 and 15 year olds from social media.

Lucy Powell being singled out for criticism. Her view on the grooming gangs is simply a reflection of Labour’s view. The party sees it as a political issue that is being weaponised by their opponents. Every policy response underlines that. And everyone in the country can see it.

Labour’s now boxed itself in on Winter Fuel. If it doesn’t U-Turn it continues to take major political damage. If it does U-Turn Nigel Farage says “see, a vote for us is how you get change”.

I'm completely mystified by accusations that tackling illegal immigration, or indeed controlling legal immigration, is somehow "right wing". It's a core function of any government to control borders and determine who can enter the UK. If there are people who are relaxed about

This is what I wrote about last week. Nigel Farage is replacing the unions as the voice of the British working class. ft.com/content/99f226…

The Government making it cheaper for British companies to employ foreign workers would be politically questionable at the best of times. In the current political context it's stark staring lunacy.

This perfectly encapsulates the problem with Keir Starmer. A couple of weeks ago he was proudly announcing the end of globalisation. This week he's proudly announcing tax cuts that will make it easier for Indian workers to take British jobs. It's utterly irrational politics.
