How it started. How it ended.

Today's #NHS fiasco. Yesterday's emergency. Day in A&E and CT Scan following temporary blindness. The quack said the Mrs needed an emergency appointment at the Eye department. Numerous phone calls later, no evidence that the Eye department even exists. Going to bang on the door.

#NHS please answer your fucking phone.

Turns out that the #NHS Emergency Eye Clinic does actually exist! They just don't answer their fucking phone. Now the Mrs is 'being 'treated as a walk in' despite trying to get through since 8am. We will now have to wait 'quite some time'. Tell me the NHS isn't fucking useless.

Just try making an appointment. Fucking useless #NHS. On the phone since 8am today. Someone please explain why we spend millions on something that doesn't work.

Finally seen a nurse (briefly). She didn't seem particularly interested that the Mrs went blind for 40 minutes yesterday. She has reluctantly gone to speak to the one and only eye doctor to see if they can spare a second or two. #NHS

Back in the waiting room. Growing old. #NHS

The Eye Department say they phoned back at around 8:30 but phone was switched off. This is a lie. Vodafone UK have no record of this and did not indicate a missed call. That's right, the #NHS lied to us.

Sent back to A&E. Possible stroke missed by CT scan yesterday. A&E rammed as always. Likely to be another long time. #NHS

Rapidly developing that toxic combination of anger and despondency.

Getting worried now. If it was a stroke, time matters. Sat in A&E for hours and nothing happening. Why don't you care, #NHS?

To #NHS NHS England NHS: Is it normal to be kept waiting for four hours and counting when sent to Portsmouth QA A&E by a doctor with a request to test for Cerebellar Stroke?

Walked out in disgust. #NHS

Things are turning to shit here. I don't know what to do.

A truly shit day. Even worse than yesterday.

Anyone else approaching the point that life vs death is a difficult decision?

Alcohol helps. For a while. Dreading tomorrow.

Might have a sleepy pill despite 6 pints.

Why do so many people bellow so loudly in a bar? My Asperger hearing is overwhelmed and I can't understand what anyone I want to listen to is saying.
